We are proud to be invited again as an Official Tour Operator for the Ride Across Portugal 2024 Cycling Challenge. To support the already superb in-house package that the Ride Across Portugal team deliver Alpcycles will again have 2 guides on the road with our guests for the week.

It's the only way to describe this 6 Stage event. Taking part in this truly unique cycling experience you will quite literally "ride across Portugal" from north to south, from the mountains to the coast. The 2023 edition covered 810km with 9,900m of climbing over 6 stages from hotel door to hotel door, which is a real treat. Our riders fell in love with this amazing country both on and off the bike: the roads & rider support, 4/5* hotels & food, people & culture wrapped up in the RAP teams passion for their country are undeniable. With rider numbers limited for the event riders will feel that personal touch from start to finish.

Single Room Full Entry Package = €4,300 per person**
- **Book before 22/12/23 to get this Phase 1 price including a Team Alpcycles Jersey. Phase 2 price starts 01/01/24 and will be higher, so grab this early price quickly.
- Prices include FULL ENTRY, 4 star Hotels & Alpcycles "GUIDES on the ROAD" domestique service and concierge for our riders, airport transfers (at set times & airports)
- Single room packages are limited - book early
- Masssage Pack: Additional bolt on package @ €260 pp can be added. Please ask for details
- Premium Rider Travel Insurance: can be added at €100 pp. This is provided by the organisers. Please ask for details

Note re airport transfers: The RAP event organisers have bolt-on airport transfer options for the arrival day 12/05/24 from Lisbon Airport (LIS) or Porto Airport (OPO).Outgoing on 19/05/24 there are airport transfer options for Faro Airport (FAO) or Lisbon Airport (LIS). These are an additional cost and are at set times. Please chat to us about adding these to your travel package.

Itinerary 2023
12/05/24 - Arrival Day: Riders will be collected from Porto Airport which is part of our travel package. Please ensure your flights fit with the 1pm pick-up time (all flights should be due to land by 1215pm)
You will be taken to the start resort for a meet & greet and bike building. First briefing in the evening and away we go!

Stage 1: Peso da Regua - Longroiva / 132km, 2000m alt
Stage 2: Longroiva - Covilha / 132km, 3220m alt
Stage 3: Covilhã - Alter do Chao / 160km, 1890m alt
Stage 4: Alter do Chao - Évora / 94km, 800m alt
Stage 5: Évora - Monchique / 193km, 1770m alt
Stage 6: Monchique - Porches / 57km, 570m alt - Celebration Dinner Ceremony
19/05/24 - Departure Day: Time to go home. Airport transfers to Lisbon and Faro leave the hotel at 0800am
